On the 6th of August, 2021, FreeMakan and Perlis Plantations Bhd partnered with Madelyn (Community Mobiliser) to provide food packs to 13 Filipino workers who had lost their sole source of income due to the pandemic. These 13 packs were a part of the 275 boxes that were generously pledged by Perlis Plantations Bhd.

Despite the numerous challenges posed by the pandemic, our dedicated delivery partner, Lalamove, overcame all obstacles to ensure that essential food supplies reached families in need. Their commitment and resilience made it possible to provide timely assistance to vulnerable communities, who expressed deep gratitude for the aid they received.
