On 29th and 30th August 2021, FreeMakan teamed up with the SPARK Foundation and My Young Mind Association (MYMA) to provide grocery packs to B40 families in need. The initiative reached families in Nigel Gardner Estate Batang Berjuntai, Kuala Selangor, and Batu Caves, where a total of 24 families in Kuala Selangor and 26 families in Batu Caves were supported. The delivery of groceries was coordinated with the help of Madam Chandra, a Community Mobiliser from MYMA, and her field team.
This effort highlights the power of partnerships and collaborations in uplifting communities that need help the most. By working together, more people in need can receive crucial support.
